Biography:

Susan Titus

Watercolorist

The primary intent of my work is to capture memories: I believe in art as a souvenir of potent life experiences.

I grew up with internationally collected artist, Vivian Cook. She taught me to see beauty in nature and translate it into art.

Educated at Humboldt State College, California as well as the University of California at Berkeley, I have been painting for over 50 years. I have shown my work mostly in California: Pacific Grove, Gilroy, Monterey, Salinas and Big Sur. I currently am represented at the Manhattan Arts International Online Gallery, the Cracked Pot Studio, and Gallery at 417 on Cannery Row in Monterey.

My primary themes are landscapes, seascapes, cityscapes and flowers. I work in watercolor on paper and on canvas. I also occasionally work with acrylics.
